FROM THE EDITOR: Here at out busy little strawbale office in Central Victoria, the Good Life team has been enjoying a combination of delightful summer weather, interspersed with moments of worry for some staff, as they dash home to make sure their properties don't need defending from bushfires! It's happening every summer now and it's one reason we have a high regard for Joan Webster's new edition of 'Essential Bushfire Safety Tips', recently released and available here.
Apart from the hot summer days it's been a surprisingly pleasant summer, and we're all looking forward to some delicious autumn planting and building projects.
